Associate Superintendent Cody Martzluf joined Illini Bluffs School District #327 in July 2014, bringing broad experience in Prek-12 education. He began as a district technologist at IB in 2002, became a district technologist for a large prek-12 district in 2005, and was the Network Specialist for Limestone High School District #310 before coming back to IB as Director of Technology. Earning his Chief School Business Official’s endorsement (CSBO) in 2019, Mr. Martzluf was then promoted to Director of Technology and Business Services, overseeing the technology department and district finances. In 2022, Mr. Martzluf earned his Education Specialist (ED. S) degree with the Superintendent's Endorsement. On July 1, 2022, he was promoted to Associate Superintendent of Operations/CSBO. In his current role, Mr. Martzluf oversees district finances, technology, school nutrition, transportation, and buildings and grounds. He works with department leaders to ensure school district operations are efficient and effective in supporting learning. Throughout his tenure, he has focused on the health and safety of students and staff, fiscal leadership, successful collaboration with families and labor partners, and building positive relationships throughout the community. Since 2024, Mr. Martzluf has served on the Advisory Board of Better Banks Glasford. Mr. Martzluf is a long-time resident of the Illini Bluffs Community and resides in the Lake Camelot neighborhood with his wife Rebekah, and three children Alayna, Brayden, and Chase.
