IB transportation staff visited Lion Electric's manufacturing facility in Joliet today to test drive an electric bus and learn more about EV technology. The district is excited to announce that we have secured grant funding for 3 electric buses—making strides towards cleaner, greener transportation for our district! Illini Bluffs Drama Club is proud to present Thornton Wilder's classic The Matchmaker!
The Thornton Wilder Society describes it perfectly: "Wilder’s uproarious farce about love and money, stars the irrepressible busybody, Dolly Gallagher Levi, who inspired the Broadway musical, Hello, Dolly! Through Dolly’s subtle machinations, several unlikely couples come together to find happiness in 19th-century New York."
Come March 15th & 16th at 7:30 pm or March 17th at 2:30 pm to see this classic farce performed by Illini Bluffs High School students. Tickets are $5 for students and seniors and $8 for adults.


We will have a reception for Barret Speck our IESA 1A 100 lb State Wrestling Champ with a 3:30 assembly in the Middle School gym. Meet at the bottom of the hill at 3:15 to escort him back to school.

Today, the MS had their 3rd quarter L.I.P. incentive. It was a blast watching all our students and teachers playing the games together! Congratulations to all our students who earned the reward!





Breaking the digital norm! Today marked our inaugural IBHS Unplugged Day, where teachers and students embraced a tech-free day. From vibrant classroom discussions to collaborative team-based learning, we ditched the screens and prioritized meaningful connections. It was a refreshing break from the screens and allowed everyone to focus on each other and strengthen the bonds within our school community! #ibtigerpride




It was an exciting morning at IBES-- The high school girls' basketball team greeted our students by giving high fives; our little tigers were beyond excited about this opportunity and certainly think the world of these ladies for their hard work and success this season! #ibtigerpride

Today, the IBMS ELA teachers kicked off their first annual Book Chats in the MS/HS Library! One of the goals of the middle school is to encourage students to become lifelong readers, and one way to do that is to have students read a novel each quarter and share that novel with other students. #ibtigerpride
