8th grade’s field trip & service project was a huge success! Students helped clean up the train depot at Wildlife Prairie Park this morning and were able to have fun as a class. The staff was very appreciative and couldn’t say enough great things about our students! #ibtigerpride

Great job Alexandra Bleichner and Gauge Snyder for representing Illini Bluffs Elementary School at the Student Recognition Breakfast this morning. It was an honor to recognize both of these excellent 5th grade students at the Central Illinois Valley Region of the Illinois Principals Association breakfast. The Creative Communications Community Hour visited The Coffee Can in Hanna City and Alpha Park Public Library to explore how innovative small business and dedicated public institutions both serve and build stronger communities. We also celebrated our time spent together this quarter writing and sharing stories, reading new books, creating podcasts, and publishing a newspaper! Miss Rosenbohm’s class kicked off their pet unit with a visit from some furry friends. The dogs were brought in by Grafelman Farms, a local foster organization. This sure did get the kids excited to learn about pets! #ibtigerpride
