Our Mother Nature and Beyond class has been incredibly busy these first few weeks! We've already learned how to propagate houseplants, and students were able to add cuttings from spider plants, marble queen pothos, and cebu blue pothos to their personal collections. And even though the greenhouse is a little warm, we've managed to get our fall crops going. Students have planted a variety of lettuce and herb seeds. If all goes well, we'll have 415 lettuce seedlings and 70 herb seedlings in a few weeks. We still have much to learn - ecosystems, terrariums, cottage foods, hydroponics, native plants, homesteading - so stay tuned!
