🐯🎉 The Illini Bluffs 8th-grade girls' track team is your IESA 2A 3rd Place State Finishers! 🥉 What an incredible achievement by this talented group of athletes!
Audrey Dickinson had a standout showing, earning IESA 2A State Champion in the 1600M 🥇, Runner-Up in the 800M 🥈, and 5th Place in the 400M. Amazing job, Audrey!
Our 4x400M relay team also brought home 3rd in the state 🥉. Congrats to Audrey Dickinson, Bethany Lines, Whitney Parker, Isabell Ortega, Alexandra Bleichner, and Lyric Toal!
To celebrate all of our track athletes who qualified for state, we’ll have a fire truck escort Monday morning at 8:10 AM from the Timber-Hollis Fire Department, followed by a reception at 8:15 AM in the middle school gym.

Miss Alcaraz’s first-grade class had a blast playing the Headband Game today! 🎉 Students practiced their reading, writing, and collaboration skills—all while having tons of fun!
We wrapped up Quarter 4 with an awesome LIP Incentive! 🎉 Congratulations to Brenna Davis!🎉 Brenna was honored with the 2025 Women’s Fund Leader Luncheon Young Woman’s Service Award yesterday in front of over 400 area leaders. She received a plaque, flowers, and a $1,000 scholarship in recognition of her outstanding service and leadership. We are so proud of you, Brenna! #ibtigerpride
What a fantastic day we had at Art in the Park yesterday! Our students had the opportunity to perform and showcase their talents, explore the local museums, and enjoy lunch together in the park.
It was a memorable experience filled with creativity, learning, and fun. We’re so proud of our students and grateful for everyone who helped make this day so special!
Our 5th-grade Band and Choir did a fabulous job tonight, showcasing the incredible growth they’ve made since their first concert back in October! We are so impressed with their hard work and dedication—it was an absolute pleasure to watch them perform this evening. Bravo to all of our talented students!
Our Kindergarten and 1st Grade Rainforest Unit wrapped up tonight with a fantastic open house! Since March, our students have been exploring the wonders of the rainforest through reading, writing, science, and art. This evening, they had the exciting opportunity to bring their families into the “rainforest” and show off all their hard work.
From vibrant art projects to thoughtful writing portfolios, students proudly shared what they’ve learned about the animals, layers, and importance of the rainforest. The transformed hallway gave families a chance to walk through the rainforest themselves—a perfect way to end a meaningful and engaging unit of study
Our 5th grade students enjoyed their final Art Cart experience of the year — a special event made possible through the generous support of our PTO. The project was led by Teri Gambetti, owner of Leo's Studio in Pekin, and brought creativity and fun to our entire grade level.
A big thank you goes out to our amazing PTO volunteers. This program wouldn’t be possible without your time, effort, and financial support. Our 5th graders had a fantastic time!

Our 2nd graders had a blast during our annual Tie-Dye Day! 🎨 It was a colorful, creative experience filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of tie-dye! A big thank you to our awesome 7th graders for joining in and helping out—it was such a fun way to collaborate across grade levels.
The 4/5th grade track meet is in full swing! The participants and cheerleaders are doing a great job, thank you, Mr. Bricker and all of our volunteers, for all of the hard work it takes to put this event on, our students sure have a great time!
